Adult Learners

It’s never too late to learn a new instrument, whether piano or flute, and it’s never too late to pick up an instrument again!


I teach from absolute beginner to diploma level and it is up to you whether you want to play just for fun or if you want to take exams and perform (yes, adults can do this too!).


I use teaching methods which are appropriate for adults and I tailor my lessons to the goals you want to achieve, whether you want to learn the classical repertoire (Bach, Handel, Mozart, Beethoven, etc.) or are looking for something different (experimental, avant-garde music, rock or jazz): I have found there is no inherent limit to what an adult learner can do; the only constraint is time, effort and patience!


I also understand the difficulties adults have in finding time to practice and fitting lessons into a busy life and will be very patient and will do my best to help you.


Lessons are available both during the day and evenings to fit around your work schedule
