About the orchestra
We are an adult amateur orchestra formed for players of all levels to explore the string orchestra repertoire in a friendly and supportive environment. The standard of the players currently ranges from about Grade 3 to Grade 8, and the group is a very friendly one! We have taken part in the Bromsgrove Autumn Fair and Worcester Festival as well as joint concerts with Bromsgrove Choral Society and others.
Bromsgrove Amateur Strings (formerly Chaddesley Strings and Junior Strings) was founded by violinist Georgia Vale in 2005 near Chaddesley Corbett in Worcestershire but now rehearses on Saturday mornings in Bromsgrove. All are welcome – no audition necessary! Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you are interested in joining, or would like to come along for a taster session!

If you play violin, viola, cello or double bass, at roughly grade 3-8 level (even if you're a bit rusty!) you're welcome to join us every Saturday at our rehearsals!
